She writes middle-grade fantasy that combines adventure with themes such as courage, justice, and what it means to be human.Her work explores contemporary issues including time pressure, environmental responsibility, and questions of identity and belonging, always through engaging and imaginative storytelling. Sign language plays a distinctive role in her books, reflecting her interest in communication and inclusion.Alongside her writing, Anna-Klara works as a curator, writer and project manager in the cultural sector. She has curated exhibitions for institutions such as the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts, where her recent exhibition was nominated for "Exhibition of the Year" in Sweden.She lives in Stockholm with her family.
