Über den Autor Abraham Olufemi (Hrsg.) Asuku

Dr. Abraham Olufemi Asuku is a passionate neuroscientist and medical biotechnologist. His area of interest is on mitigation of neurotoxicity, neurodegenerative diseases, and neurodevelopmental disorders by phytochemicals, and also on the applications of nanotechnology for neurodegenerative disease drug delivery. He is a member of the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria, the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, USA, the Physiological Society, United Kingdom. He is an award-winning researcher and has over 80 publications (More than 60 are Scopus-based). Dr. Asuku was an editor of the book titled Non pharmacological Intervention for Dementia: A Comprehensive Approach, Bioresources for Managing and Treating Dementia, and Apitherapy for Neurodegenerative Diseases (published by CRC Press), and Evolution and Innovation in Parkinson's Disease Therapies in Under-Resourced Settings (published by IGI Global Scientific Publishing).Professor Akintayo Christopher Oloruntoba is a Medical Doctor and a Professor of Physiology. He has taught diverse undergraduate and postgraduate students. Sequel to this he has supervised both M.Sc. and Ph.Ds Theses. He has presented at both local and international levels, and he has published in reputable journals and contributed to several book chapters. Professor Akintayo has worked in the following capacity; postgraduate co ordinator, academic curriculum development for the following programs: MBBS, BDS, and Human Physiology (for both undergraduate and postgraduate), He is a member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, American Physiological Society, Physiological Society, London, and Society for Endocrinology, London.
