Über den Autor Jin Yong

Jin Yong wurde 1924 in Haining, China, geboren. Er studierte kurze Zeit an der »Zentralen Politischen Hochschule« in Chongqing und war anschließend als Übersetzer und Zeitungsredakteur tätig. 1955 veröffentlichte er seinen ersten Roman, dem noch viele weitere folgen sollten. Jin Yongs Hauptwerk »Die Legende der Adlerkrieger« wurde mehrfach verfilmt sowie in zahlreiche Sprachen übersetzt und gilt in China als Meilenstein der Wuxia-Literatur. In Hongkong gibt es sogar ein eigenes Jin-Yong-Museum. Der Autor starb 2018 im Alter von 94 Jahren.
