Über den Autor Zhe (Hrsg.) Liu

Dr. Zhe Liu ist stellvertretender Dekan des Fachbereichs Medizinische Wissenschaften und Technik, Direktor der Fakultät für Intelligente Biomaterialien und Professor an der Akademie für Medizintechnik und Translationale Medizin, Medizinische Hochschule, Universität Tianjin, China. Er promovierte 2007 am Institut für Chemie der Chinesischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und ging dann als Postdoktorand zum Molecular Imaging Program in Stanford (MIPS, Stanford University, USA) und zum Helmholtz-Institut für Biomedizinische Technik (RWTH Aachen, Deutschland). Zu seinen aktuellen Forschungsinteressen gehören die Entwicklung intelligenter Biomaterialien für die Medikamentenverabreichung, visualisierte Medizin und innovative Strategien zur Behandlung von Krankheiten. Dr. Liu hat mehr als 50 Forschungsartikel als unabhängiger Korrespondenz-/Erstautor veröffentlicht und weltweit 5 wissenschaftliche Bücher herausgegeben. Er ist "Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry" (FRSC) und "Fellow of Royal Society of Medicine" (FRSM) und hat die (leitende) Mitgliedschaft der Radiology Society of North America (RSNA), der American Society of Chemistry (ACS), der Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), der Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), der Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) und der Chinese Association of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering (CAUME).
