Über den Autor Louis Begley

Louis Begley, 1933 in Polen geboren, arbeitete bis 2004 als Anwalt in New York. Als Schriftsteller wurde er mit seinem Roman Lügen in Zeiten des Krieges weltweit bekannt. Seine Bücher wurden in 18 Sprachen übersetzt und vielfach ausgezeichnet. Christa Krüger übersetzte u.a. Werke von Louis Begley, Penelope Fitzgerald und Richard Rorty. Sie lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
