Über den Autor Cecelia Holland

S. C. Pedersen (geb. 1967) ist eine dänische Schriftstellerin und Musikerin. In ihrer mitreißenden Reihe um den mutigen Krieger Arnulf erweckt sie die Wikingerzeit wieder zum Leben - die fiktionalen Ereignisse und Figuren in ihren Romanen basieren auf gründlicher Recherche und historischen Begebenheiten. Cecelia Holland wurde in Nevada geboren und begann schon mit 12 Jahren, ihre ersten eigenen Geschichten zu verfassen. Später studierte sie Kreatives Schreiben am Connecticut College unter dem preisgekrönten Lyriker William Meredith. Heute ist Cecelia Holland Autorin zahlreicher Romane, in denen sie sich mit der Geschichte verschiedenster Epochen und Länder auseinandersetzt. Heidrun Hurst, geboren 1966 in Kehl am Rhein, ging schon als Kind gerne mit Hilfe von Büchern auf Reisen in fremde Welten und ferne Zeiten. Ihr Hunger nach geschriebenen Abenteuern und Literatur wurde schließlich so groß, dass sie sich einige Jahre später selbst dem Schreiben widmete. Seitdem veröffentlicht sie historische Romane, für die sie mit Leidenschaft und Neugier tief in die Recherche längst vergangener Zeiten eintaucht.
