Über den Autor Martin Windrow

Martin Windrow, nacido en 1944, es un historiador militar británico, editor en la prestigiosa editorial Osprey Publishing y autor de varios centenares de libros, artículos y monografías, entre los que destacan Camaradas bajo la arena. La Legión Extranjera Francesa (Desperta Ferro Ediciones, 2024), y The Last Valley (Orion Books, 2004), un relato acerca de la batalla de Dien Bien Phu. Windrow se educó en el Wellington College, un internado independiente situado en el pueblo de Crowthorne, en Berkshire. Comenzó a trabajar por encargo como redactor de artículos sobre historia militar y de la aviación en la década de 1970. Es miembro de la Royal Historical Society y de la Asociación de la Legión Extranjera de Gran Bretaña.
