Über den Autor Alain de Botton

Alain de Botton gründete 2008 die 'School of Life' (www.alaindebotton.com), da er der Überzeugung ist, dass man die verschiedenen Lebensbereiche wie Karriere, Liebe, Elternschaft usw. erlernen kann. Mit Charme, Ironie und Neugier entwickelt Alain de Botton seit seinem Romandebüt und Weltbestseller 'Versuch über die Liebe' eine Philosophie des Alltags. Es folgten die Romane 'Isabel' und 'Die romantische Bewegung', die essayistischen Erkundungen 'Wie Proust Ihr Leben verändern kann', 'Trost der Philosophie', 'Kunst des Reisens', 'StatusAngst' und 'Glück und Architektur'. 2016 erschien sein letzter Roman 'Der Lauf der Liebe'. Alain de Botton lebt mit Frau und Kindern in London. Literaturpreise: - Prix Européen de L'Essai 'Charles Veillon' 2003 - Wirtschaftsbuchpreis des Jahres 2004, verliehen von der Financial Times Deutschland und getAbstractBarbara v.
