Dr. Renu Nayar received her M.Sc. in Chemistry from Avdhesh Pratap University, Rewa (M.P.) India. She was awarded Ph.D. for her work on groundwater pollution by Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur (C.G.). She works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, D.P. Vipra College, Bilaspur (C.G.). She has been teaching various Chemistry courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the past 24 years. In addition to teaching, Dr. Nayar has been actively engaged in scientific research primarily in environmental chemistry and water pollution. She also worked in the areas of advanced water purification technologies and material science. In the past, she was awarded two projects, one by the University Grants Commission and another by the State Planning Commission of Chhattisgarh. She has successfully obtained one patent and has more than 25 research papers in UGC and Scopus indexing journals to her credit. She has edited/authored three books.
