Über den Autor Seneca

Lucius Annaeus Seneca, (* etwa im Jahre 1 in Corduba; † 65 n. Chr. in der Nähe Roms), war ein römischer Philosoph, Dramatiker, Naturforscher, Staatsmann und als Stoiker einer der meistgelesenen Schriftsteller seiner Zeit. Vom Jahr 49 an war er der maßgebliche Erzieher des späteren Kaisers Nero. Zuletzt wurde er vom Kaiser der Beteiligung an der pisonischen Verschwörung beschuldigt und zum Selbstmord gezwungen.Heinz Berthold, geboren 1927 in Leipzig und verstorben 2017, studierte Klassische Philologie, Alte Geschichte, Klassische Archäologie und Germanistik an der Universität Leipzig. Ab 1988 war Heinz Berthold Dozent für spätantike Religionsgeschichte und Patristik an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. Heinz Berthold, geboren 1927 in Leipzig und verstorben 2017, studierte Klassische Philologie, Alte Geschichte, Klassische Archäologie und Germanistik an der Universität Leipzig.
