Über den Autor Chih-Huang (Hrsg.) Weng

Emeritus Professor Chih-Huang Weng is affiliated with the Department of Civil Engineering at I-Shou University in Taiwan, where he also serves as President of North Kaohsiung Community University in Taiwan. He received his MS. and Ph.D. degrees in 1990 and 1994, respectively, from the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Delaware, USA. Currently, Prof. Weng is Associate Editor of Environmental Geochemistry and Health (Springer) and Member of the Editorial Board Panel of Coloration Technology (Wiley). He has acted as Guest Editor of SCI journals, such as Agricultural Water Management (Elsevier), Environmental Science and Pollution Research (Springer), and Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering. Additionally, he has organized and chaired numerous international conferences. Prof. Weng is listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University (2021-2025). His main research interests focus on using advanced oxidation processes and adsorption to treat wastewater and bacteria inactivation.
