Defending the outbreak of theological liberalism that started in his day, Alexander uses morality as a point to start with when using a theistic philosophy to base morals off of. He defends the outlook that God provided humans with a conscience and that we must use that reason correctly to be considered righteous. He uses many sources in Greek thought to defend this stance.
