Über den Autor Monique Schwitter

Monique Schwitter, 1972 in Zürich geboren, lebt seit 2005 in Hamburg. Sie hat in Salzburg Schauspiel und Regie studiert und war unter anderem an den Theaterhäusern in Zürich, Frankfurt, Graz und Hamburg engagiert. Seit 2012 ist sie Mitglied der Hamburger Freien Akademie der Künste. 2004 erhielt Schwitter das Hermann-Lenz-Stipendium. Für ihren Debütband 'Wenn's schneit beim Krokodil' (2005) wurden ihr der Robert-Walser-Preis und der Förderpreis der Schweizer Schillerstiftung verliehen. 2008 erschienen ihr Roman 'Ohren haben keine Lider' und ihr Theaterstück 'Himmels-W', danach folgte ihr zweiter Band mit Erzählungen, 'Goldfischgedächtnis' (2012). 2013 wurde Schwitters Werk mit dem manuskripte-Preis gewürdigt. Ihr Roman 'Eins im Andern' stand auf der Shortlist zum Deutschen Buchpreis und erhielt den Schweizer Buchpreis (2015).
