Michael Forney

Michael Forney (born May 14, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Colorado Eagles in the ECHL. Forney was drafted 80th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Forney played in the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Game. Ice hockey is a team sport played on ice, in which skaters use wooden or composite sticks to shoot a hard rubber puck into their opponent's net. In regions where it is popular, the game is often referred to simply as hockey. The game is played between two teams with six players on the ice.
