This book examines artificial intelligence (AI) and metaverse adoption in education by presenting case studies on what might work and what might not. It shows how AI can personalize learning, translate, and adapt content for diverse learners, and automate routine feedback. Additionally, this book further reveals the challenges and concerns to keep in mind while developing and adopting these technologies. It serves as a practical guide for educators, leaders, and policymakers seeking to use emerging technologies to advance equity, climate literacy, and future-ready skills, and invites readers to co-create trustworthy, human-centered AI and metaverse experiences that expand opportunity, are culturally sensitive, and help learners and teachers everywhere build a sustainable shared future.
