This book addresses the rapidly evolving landscape of medical imaging leadership, offering in-depth, evidence-based insights into the practical, operational, strategic, and ethical dimensions of managing radiographic services across diverse global healthcare settings.

Medical Imaging Management: Practical Approaches for Modern Leaders brings together international expertise to explore the multifaceted nature of medical imaging management. The authors fill a critical gap in radiographic literature by providing a holistic examination of leadership practices, operational excellence, and strategic planning specifically tailored to medical imaging environments. It explores an array of medical imaging and radiology settings, which will remain pertinent to practitioners, service users, and policymakers as the practice of medical imaging management evolves, aligned with technology developments and environmental considerations. Drawing on the experience of recognized academics and practitioners, the book captures medical imaging management experiences that demonstrate evolving practices intended to optimise service delivery and medical imaging personnel performance. It provides solutions for the increasing complexity in healthcare delivery, the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, and the growing demand for effective leadership in imaging services.

The targeted audience for this book is multifaceted including radiography department managers and team leaders, educators in medical imaging and radiography, health service administrators and policymakers, final-year undergraduate and postgraduate radiography students, researchers, and thought leaders in medical imaging sciences.
