Cori Sykes, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is the founder of Write and Vibe Publishing and a multi-talented creative dedicated to storytelling, literary education, and community building. She is the author of romance novels published under the pen name Chichima Cherry, as well as the Curiously Cara children's book series published in honor of her late mother, Karen Mae.With more than fifteen years of writing experience, Cori has helped bring over fifteen books to life while mentoring and encouraging aspiring authors throughout their creative journeys. Her passion for storytelling extends beyond writing into teaching, publishing, and creating accessible spaces for writers to learn and grow.Cori has taught writing classes through partnerships with Cleveland Public Library and the Inkubator Writing Conference, covering topics related to creative writing, publishing, and character development. Through Write and Vibe, she also curated educational programming led by renowned bestselling authors and local subject matter experts. In addition, she successfully led a private writing community focused on accountability, creativity, and professional development for writers.As a speaker and literary advocate, Cori has served as a keynote presenter for writing conferences and has spoken at TEDxYo.
