Grey and the Library Van

Mychal Threets is a librarian and literacy advocate named one of Time's 100 most influential creators. Online, he shares videos of affirmations to assure people that their mental health always matters, and he encourages everyone to know they belong at the library. A former PBS kid himself, Mychal is proud to serve as PBS resident librarian. Neil Malcolm McKnight (he/him) is an illustrator born and raised in New York who currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. Neil studied at the Academy of Art University and majored in storyboarding. He loves to convey deep emotions in his characters with vivid and elaborate colors and to use captivating storytelling. Neil has worked with Jordan Peele and Universal Studios on promotional work for the movie Us and Lena Waithe and Showtime on The Chi.
