Über den Autor V. V. Ganeshananthan

V. V. Ganeshananthan ist außerordentliche Professorin für Englisch an der University of Minnesota. Ihr Roman Der brennende Garten wurde von der Kritik gefeiert und 2024 mit dem Women's Prize for Fiction sowie dem Carol Shields Prize ausgezeichnet. Sie co-hostet den Fiction/Non/Fiction-Podcast auf Literary Hub, der sich mit dem Schnittpunkt von Literatur und Nachrichten beschäftigt. Sophie Zeitz studierte Amerikanistik, Romanistik und Philosophie in Heidelberg, Granada und München. Sie lebt als freie Übersetzerin in Berlin. Zu den von ihr übertragenen Autoren zählen u. a. John Green, Leslie Jamison, Douglas Stuart and Tess Gunty.
