A book for foodies and Francophiles, FORKS IN THE ROAD takes the reader on a romantic culinary tour of France, using the Michelin Guide as its roadmap. Acting as a cultural history, travel guide and exploration of the dining landscape of the last century, FORKS IN THE ROAD promises to be a lyrical journey whose detours reflect its subject. It will offer the reader an escapist account of a worldwide institution, and which is all about joy and pleasure for its own sake; all aspects of a great meal and a great journey.
