Über den Autor Dion Leonard

Dion Leonard, 42 Jahre alt, Australier, lebt mit seiner Frau Lucja in Schottland. Dion hat sich bei einigen der härtesten Ultra-Marathons der Welt durch eigentlich unwegsame Landschaften durchgesetzt. Er hat den 250km-Marathon Des Sables durch die marokkanische Sahara zweimal vollendet und ist auch durch die Kalahari-Wüste gelaufen. Dions letztes 250 Kilometer langes Rennen durch die Wüste Gobi bildete den Wendepunkt in seinem Leben. Denn dort verliebte er sich in einen streunenden Hund, der ihm gefolgt ist und der sein Leben für immer verändert hat.
