Über den Autor Catherine Rider

Dr Catherine Rider is Associate Professor of Medieval Studies at the University of Exeter. She is the author of two academic books, Magic and Religion in Medieval England and Magic and Impotence in the Middle Ages, and co-edited the Routledge History of Medieval Magic with Sophie Page. She has written for BBC History Magazine and has appeared on BBC Radio 4's Making History and The Today Programme. She was interviewed for the BBC's Inside the Medieval Mind TV series in 2008. She is the recipient of the Folklore Society's Katharine Briggs Award 2006, and a 2024 Leverhulme Senior Research Fellowship. This is her first trade book.
