A comforting and hopeful guide to finding meaning in life's hardest moments

What actually happens when we approach the end of life? How can you support a loved one through such a challenging and significant time?

In Every Day Matters, Dr Lucy Pain offers insightful and reassuring answers to these questions and more. Drawing on over two decades in palliative care, she will help you to understand what to expect, how to navigate difficult conversations and decisions and how to make the most of the time you have left - whether you are facing this yourself or supporting someone else.

Through thoughtfully shared real-life experiences, you will learn how to find connection and comfort in moments big and small; how to prioritize what matters most to you when time is uncertain and how to find joy and purpose in life's most challenging circumstances. This book is the helping hand readers of all ages need to approach death and dying with positivity and purpose, to support friends and family with confidence and to allow everyone to live meaningfully until the very end.
