Vita Harwood has been certain, for as long as she can remember, that she already knew them. The unicorns, the fauns, the griffins, the dragons, the

fairies - they did not feel invented. They felt familiar, as though they had always belonged to the natural world, as much a part of it as anything

symbolic and mythological tradition each creature draws from Slavic folklore, Greek myth, and original tales from the artist's own published fiction.
