AN UNEXPECTED CHALLENGE

This is the story of a particularly trying episode in the life of a young man from Barbados - Ian Carrington - who falls seriously ill while far away from home pursuing graduate studies at a university in a foreign country. It chronicles his search for answers from the medical community in the United Kingdom, and the subsequent diagnosis of a cancer.
