Algebraic Geometry and the Langlands Program

This book is a tribute to the memory of Gérard Laumon, one of key figures on modern arithmetic geometry. His work advanced greatly the connections between algebraic geometry and number theory, especially the theory of automorphic forms, and inspired a whole generation of mathematicians. The papers collected in this volume touch on various aspects of G. Laumon's research interests.
